Bought vehicle in 1991, it was a theft recovery previous owner bought from a salvage yard . Car was originally a targa from the factory, top was chopped and speedster windshield conversion was done with a new factory ordered windshield direct from Germany.959 fiberglass body kit was added but never finished. Took car to private vw/Porsche shop to get running and have it checked out before I began the body modifications. Bought the car with a salvage bill of sale . I haven’t tried to get a title , but car comes up as clear title in listing . Has not been titled since before 1991, might be able to apply and get a clear title due to age of it not being registered, not making any predictions but for you to investigate . Car is ready for a final prime and block from the rear of the doors foreward. All panels are currently just placed on the car , but have been gapped and blocked several times. The rear deck lid, rear bumper and clamshell (aftermarket piece) still need to be fitted and final bonding completed. Car comes with everything pictured also have new in box factory newer settle mirrors . There are no seats and needs complete interior as well. Putting clean gas in this week, you will be able to drive it on and off any trailer or carrier. It is a full time speedster , handles have been shaved and there is no convertible top. Windshield is factory speedster direct from Germany. Original motor and transmisssion , doesn’t seem to have ever been out of car. Previous owner claimed to have done a title check and last reported mileage was approx 62,000 ?? My bill of sale says 10,000(see pics) . Original gauges were not in car when bought. Feel free to have car inspected . Car has zero rust or corrosion . Been stored inside a heated shop for last 30 years
