For sale is an Antique 19th Century Brass Mortar and Pestle set with the design of two knobs on the mortar and a ring band on the pestle. It is heavily built and heavily used, most likely in an Apothecary or by a Chemist. It is a genuinely 19th century piece, not a reproduction. Please see the sign of use in the pestle’s pounding end and on both the inside of the bowl and the bottom. All in all, a great display object and practical item with Amazing antique Patina!
