For Jeep owners looking to improve their off-roading experience these easy to use Sway Bar Quick Disconnect pins allow for more flex in your suspension, help to keep your wheels on the ground, and improve traction. Specially designed adjustable clevis pins feature a new larger bolt head and round linch pins for added security while still allowing you to quickly disconnect your front sway bars. Set comes with (2) Clevis pins (7/16” x 2 ½” length), (2) linch pins, and (4) washers.
INSTALLATION:
1. With your Jeep parked on level ground, unbolt your factory swaybar link bolts using a Torx55 bit and a wrench. You may reuse the washer.
2. Replace the factory bolt with the supplied clevis pin. Make sure to place supplied washers on both sides of the pin for a tight fit. Insert linch pin in appropriate hole to secure clevis pin. You may re-use the factory washer if the fit is loose or to adjust the cotter pin.
As with any home modification to a vehicle, use these supplies at your own risk. Pin head may wear down with regular use. Pins should be checked regularly for wear and tear from use and should be replaced regularly if necessary.
